Silhouette Soft® The thread lift to rejuvenate the face

Silhouette Soft® treats the loose facial skin by reestablishing its volume with a natural result. The areas being treated are:

• The eyebrows
• The cheekbones
• The forehead
• The hollow of the cheeks
• The bitterness folds
• The nasolabial folds
• The neck
• The jowls

The method is performed under local anesthesia and lasts approximately thirty minutes.

Silhouette Soft® is an L-polylactic acid (PLA) lifting thread on which small cones are positioned which allow the thread to anchor well in the tissues.

L-Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a substance commonly used in the manufacture of surgical suture threads and which benefits from many years of experience demonstrating its safety.

The lift threads and small cones are completely absorbable and gradually dissolve within six to eight months. There is also no allergy, no rejection or side effects.

On each thread 8, 12 or 16 cones are steered in opposite directions to each end of the suture, hence the term "bidirectional".

The doctor implants Silhouette Soft® threads in various ways, depending on the indication to be treated.

The physician inserts the needle at the point of entry at a depth of 5 millimeters. He then directs the needle through the subcutaneous tissue to the point of exit. After that the treads are gently pulled in order to repair the cones in the skin tissue. Lastly, he makes a small pressure of the treated area to tighten the skin and then cuts the ends of the son.
