The PRP consists of a platelet-rich plasma injector that triggers the stem cells of the gene that has become collagen and elastin. It helps to improve the skin on the face, neck and neck, and treats some of the flaws of the skin.
What is Platelet Rich Plasma?
Blood plasma containing platelets and growth factors that stimulate the skin's natural regenerative mechanisms.
It's produced from the patient's own blood. It is thus an autologous product, 100% biocompatible with no risk of rejection or allergy.
- Plasma is a serum that contains nutrients, vitamins, hormones, minerals and proteins needed for cell survival.
- Platelets are nucleus free cells of mitochondria, microtubules and alpha granules. A platelet comprises between fifty and eighty alpha granules and synthesizes about thirty bioactive proteins which are growth factors. There are a dozen different growth factors that boost stem cells in the area where PRP is being injected.
Platelet-rich plasma has been proven to cure osteoarthritis, tendinitis or ligament rupture for more than 20 years. Its virtues are increasingly being used in anti-aging medicines.
Treatment: Reboot stem cells
PRP rejuvenates the skin by acting deeply into the dermis.
The "Vampire Lift": prevention of aging of the skin
Platelet-rich plasma retains the skin's natural moisture and protects it from external aggressions (tobacco, pollution, etc.). Ideal from the age of 25 to achieve an instant radiant effect and delay the appearance of the first wrinkles. Kim Kardashian and Bar Refaeli hyped the "Vampire Lift" It is also increasingly popular among reality TV stars in France, including Manon Marsault and Jessica Thivenin.
Facial rejuvenation
From the forties onwards, the wrinkles are well developed and the skin on the face and neckline begins to fray, especially if you have abused the sun. PRP injections can stimulate the production of collagen.
Treatment of skin imperfections
PRP is also suitable for the reduction of dark circles, for improving the appearance of all scars (acne scars, accidental scars or scars after surgery) and for the treatment of stretch marks.
Intimate rejuvenation
PRP has regenerative properties in the vaginal labia to restore firmness and tone.
Capillary stimulation
PRP Hair helps to slow hair loss and stimulate development
A PRP session
A nurse collects a blood sample from your arm. It is not required to be fasting.
The blood collected is then centrifuged. The process separates plasma and platelets from red blood cells and white blood cells. The growth factors and proteins comprised in the PRP "boost" the skin stem cells that generate collagen and elastin.
The doctor then injects a small quantity of PRP into the dermis with a thin needle on the treated surface.
An anesthetic cream is used for the comfort of the patient.
Depending on the skin issue to be treated, three to six sessions of PRP treatment are need. Each session is four to six weeks apart.
Side effects of the injections
There may be signs of erythema, oedema, itching or transient skin sensitivity and the possibility of bruising for a few days. Activities can be immediately resumed.
Results
Quickly after the session, there is a clear improvement in the radiance and tone of the skin. After one month, the skin becomes more supple, the surface is less wrinkled and the imperfections of the skin lessen.
PRP injections must be renewed every year to ensure that the result is maintained in a sustainable manner.
Treatment should be renewed every six months.
PRP injections can be combined with the LED laser to maximize the results.
