The peeling is a natural exfoliation of the epidermis and dermis to eliminate any noticeable imperfections on the skin. The penetration of the active substance (glycolic acid, salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid, etc.) depends on the areas to be treated and on the phototype.
Treatment: skin imperfections
The peeling technique can be used to treat a very large range of problem areas:
- Dull complexion (brightness of the skin)
- Dilated pores
- Loss of tone in the skin
- The signs of skin aging, crumpled skin, wrinkles and fine lines
- Dark circles
- Oily skin and acne.
- Scars (accidental and post-operative scars, acne scars)
- Hyperpigmentation (brown spots)
- Red stretch marks
Course of a session
In order to cause limited and controlled degradation of the epidermis or even the superficial and deep layers of the dermis, the doctor applies a chemical substance to the skin.
The doctor chooses the concentration of the active ingredients of the peeling according to each patient.
- Female or male skin: Women's skin is thinner and more delicate than male skin, which is thicker and less flexible.
- Young or mature skin: before the age of 45, we are in the process of maintenance and prevention. Beyond that, the skin needs a deeper treatment to recover its radiance.
- Light, tan or dark skin: treatments are commercially available that can treat all pigmentations without risk, but not for all problem areas.

The Three Steps of the Peel
Fifteen days to one month before the session, the patient shall apply a cream to the face that prepares the skin to improve the penetration of the active substance and prevent potential rebounding of the pigment.
After the face has been cleansed, the doctor will add the acid solution and let it activate between a minimum of thirty seconds and a maximum of two minutes. When the skin begins to blush and tingle, the face is rinsed with water.
After the session, the patient shall apply a cream for 3 to 7 days to protect, repair and soothe the skin.
The aftercare
The side effects vary depending on the peeling:
- No social constraints on Mask Peel, Milk Peel, Cosmo Peel and Lightening Peel
- Slight redness with Yellow Peel and Mela Peel lasts for a few hours
Results
At the superficial level, dead skin cells are scrapped and replaced by younger cells. The skin finds a radiant complexion, and all the visible imperfections are erased.
At the medium level, the chemical active agents act selectively on the dermis depending on the skin issue to be addressed.
