Hymenoplasty

Hymen is a membrane that divides the vagina from the vulva and tears when sexual intercourse happens for the first time. The hymen, depending on the woman, is more or less elastic. Some women are born without a hymen, others are broken while riding, cycling, doing gymnastics, or even putting a sanitary tampon. On the other hand, some women can give birth with an almost intact hymen. The hymen thus provides very weak evidence of female virginity.

He then stitches it with an absorbable suture that disappears after ten to fifteen days. The scar is hidden in the folds of the hymen and is totally invisible.

The patient has a minimal pain and will go back to work the next day. In order to recover properly, the patient must stop intense physical exercise as well as a sauna or swimming pool for one month.

The results of this hymenoplasty are immediate. The repair of the hymen membrane persists until the next time the patient has sexual intercourse. It is undetectable even in the event of a gynecological test prior to marriage.

Blood loss is not systematic when the hymen breaks. However, even in the absence of bleeding, at the time of penetration, the man can experience resistance. In order to maximize the likelihood of bleeding before marriage, some women are not afraid to have surgery a week before the wedding so that the unhealed wound causes bleeding on the sheets.
